Airline Fuel Surcharges and Mandatory Taxes

Our prices do not include prevailing Airline Fuel Surcharges and Mandatory Taxes, security taxes, passenger safety taxes, or any other fluctuating charge imposed by the airlines, which are beyond our control. These charges will be added to our passengers invoice once all required travel arrangements are confirmed. Since these charges fluctuate frequently and without prior notice, Airline Fuel Surcharges and Mandatory Taxes are subject to revision at the time of final payment.

Please note that a September 11th Security Fee of $5.00 per person per flight (domestic & international) and a Federal Segment Tax of $3.00 per person per domestic flight (within the Unites States) will be added to our passengers final invoice which is subject to revision at the time of final payment. These Security Fees and Federal Segment Taxes will be added to the cost of all airline segments. A segment is a takeoff and landing. The September 11th Security Fee applies to every airline segment that we arrange on your behalf whilst the Federal Segment Tax of $3.00 per person per domestic segment (within the Unites States) is only applicable for flights within the United States E.G. Buffalo / New York City or Los Angeles / Washington DC.

ZAMBIA INFORMATION:

Please note that a new departure tax that has been implemented for passengers departing from the international airports in Zambia (effective 02/23/2007).  This tax is known as AIR PASSENGER SERVICE CHARGE. Effective immediately for all passengers departing Zambia, we have no option but to include the extra USD25.00 to the ticket fare on all tickets which have not yet been issued (as at today’s date - 02/23/2007)

Please note that in addition to this new departure tax, all departing passengers will still have to pay the mandatory Zambian Departure Tax of USD20.00 per person upon departure from all Zambian airports

ZANZIBAR - TANZANIA INFORMATION:

A mandatory departure tax of US$30.00 per person is payable in cash on departure from Zanzibar International and may not be included in the price of your airline ticket

The ONLY form of payment for this mandatory departure tax is in US Dollar cash notes. No credit cards, travelers’ checks or local currency will be accepted as form of payment under any circumstances. Please be appropriately prepared financially!
